Good Policy Making: What can we learn from past policies?

Edge Foundation

This report, by the Edge Foundation, is an overview of historical specific education policies affecting vocational education and training (VET). The purpose of the report is to review what can be learned from past policies and how expert knowledge and ‘policy memory’ to support good policy development. By analysing how past policies were conceived, developed and implemented we aim to discuss the conditions in which good policy making might occur to improve the education and training system.

The 29 page report also links to 13 individual reports looking into VET policies implemented over the last 50 years.
